CATHERINE'S BIOENGINEERING VOYAGE

1/6
Hi, I'm Catherine!
I recently graduated with my B.S. in Biological Engineering from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Welcome to my E-Portfolio, a testament to my incredible undergraduate journey in biological engineering. Here you can dive deep into various projects I've completed, my work experiences, and my involvement on campus and in my community. I invite you to test the waters by exploring the buttons below, or set sail by clicking a picture at the bottom of the page. Welcome aboard!
I was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. As a kid, I couldn't decide what I wanted to be when I grew up. First, I dreamed of being a marine biologist, then a musician, then a mechanical engineer—I couldn't settle on a single path, other than following in my dad's footsteps and making the LSU marching band. While in high school at St. Thomas More, I realized that my talent for STEM was matched by a desire to help others. I ultimately decided to pursue biological engineering at LSU because I was certain I could merge my scientific interests with my technical aptitudes to facilitate innovations in this rapidly growing field.

As I embark on my career after graduating in May 2025, my primary goal is for my work to improve others' quality of life. Whether through research contributing to improved therapies or treatments, design work leading to more useful and precise devices, or engineering efforts developing effective solutions for complex problems, I am eager to make a positive impact through my efforts in the biotech industry. As I start this new chapter, I am excited to launch my career, rise up to new challenges, and continue learning!
